Services

One company from the first measure to the last adjustment. We design it, build it in our own workshop, and install it ourselves.

What we do

Four kinds of job,
one way of working

Kitchen renovations

Replacing what's there, in a home you're still living in. We sequence the work so you're not without a sink for longer than necessary, and we tell you up front which days will be disruptive. Old cabinetry goes with us.

New builds & extensions

Working to the builder's program and the architect's drawings. We measure once the walls are up and square, not off the plan, because the plan and the room are never quite the same thing.

Whole-house joinery

Kitchen, robes, vanities, laundry and media units in one package. Same door finish and hardware throughout, quoted together, built together, installed in one program.

Benchtop replacement

Sometimes the carcasses are sound and only the top has had it. We template over the existing cabinets, and tell you honestly if the boxes underneath aren't worth keeping.

Included as standard

Not an upgrade list

Some of these turn up as line items on other quotes. On ours they're part of the job, which is worth knowing when you're comparing two numbers that look different.

  • Site measure and layout drawing Before you commit to anything, and free whether or not you go ahead.
  • Soft-close hinges and runners On every door and drawer we build. The cheapest thing to skimp on and the first to annoy you.
  • Moisture-resistant board in wet areas Under sinks, in laundries, in bathrooms. Not a premium option.
  • Removal of the old cabinetry It leaves with us. You don't end up with a driveway full of chipboard.
  • Final adjustment after settling Doors and drawers move slightly in the first weeks. Call us and we come back.
Worth knowing

What we do and don't hold a licence for

Cabinetry, benchtops and installation are ours. Plumbing and electrical work is done by licensed contractors — we coordinate the disconnect before we start and the reconnect once the benchtop is in, and the quote makes clear which of those items are included in our price and which are billed directly to you.

We say this plainly because it's a common source of surprise at the end of a kitchen job. Ask any cabinetmaker for the same clarification before you sign.

Where we work

Metropolitan Adelaide, from Gawler down to the southern suburbs and out through the eastern and western suburbs. We take on regional South Australian work when the job is large enough to justify the travel — ask and we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense.

Start with a measure

It costs nothing, it takes about an hour, and you end up with a drawing and a number.
